Using the Forums

  • Hey everyone!

If you're not sure where to post certain topics or you don't quite know where to track your own posts, hopefully this information will help you stay up to date on the Bleeding Edge forums!

    • We're constantly making changes to try and improve the forums as well as make improvement to Bleeding Edge. If your post is no longer where you left it, there's a chance it's been moved to a more appropriate topic. There'll usually be a message from the moderator who moved the post to let you know, alternatively you can check your profile page and check any topics or posts you created.

    Categories & Sub-Categories

    • These are how we group topics so it's easier for you to find posts regarding a specific topic you're interested in.

    Top, Latest, Dev

    • These filters help you organise posts by either the busiest topics, the latest topics or any topics posted by developers within the category you're in. You can use the category drop down to easily switch to another without changing your filter. 🙂

    • You can visit the Ninja Support profile page and check out the latest posts from us, this works the same for all profiles on the Forums. 🙂

Tracking your posts and organising topics

    • Forum posts a sorted by newest to oldest by default, but you can change this in the drop down in any category. You can also ignore topics or choose to only see the topics you're watching from a similar drop down at the top of the categories page.

    • If you're watching for unread topics you can identify them by the Unread topic Icon in the top right hand corner.

    • If you use the @ symbol to tag a specific Forum user in a post, they will receive a notification over the profile tab in the top right hand corner of the website. By clicking on this notification icon you can see all new posts and topics you've been tagged in!

    Tools and Functions

    • Whilst we do not currently allow file uploading to the Bleeding Edge forums, players can upload images to an image hosting site and attach a URL using the picture icon when writing a post.

    • All players are able to edit their own posts, simply click the 3 dots icon in the bottom right hand corner of the post and choose "edit".

    • The same options menu includes a bookmark feature which allows you to tag posts so you can easily find them later!

    • If you have a general question feel free to post on the forums in the correct category and you'll hopefully find an answer before long, if your issue is more technical then you may want to go straight to the Support Centre. Ninja Theory can't discuss your personal details on a public facing platform like the forums, so it may be faster to send a request that way.

    Hope this helps!

  • I really miss search and edit features. Any plans to Implement them?

  • @django3488 We are constantly working on new tools and features for the Forums, we are specifically looking into implementing better ways for players to search for topics and posts.

We will let the community know when we have a time frame for these changes.
